Four new flagships in Apple's iPhone 13 lineup will be unveiled online as early as September. In this
piece, let's talk about the professional smartphone models and get to the bottom of what design,
specs and features the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max will get. Let's find out what price the new
products will be offered for.
The design and new colours of the flagships
The design of the 13th range will be similar to the past, but Apple will not leave us without plushies.
A complete upgrade regarding the appearance of the iPhones happened last year, so the flat edges
and slim body will accompany us for a few more years. But it's not all so obvious with the design, in
this respect Apple won't leave the new products completely unchanged. According to the latest
insider information, the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max will get new body colours. The gadgets will come
in four colours: pearl, matte black, sunset gold and rose gold. Accordingly Pacific Blue will leave the
new range altogether, while the graphite case will be replaced by a matte black one. Read more
about the colours of the entire iPhone 13 range in the blog at the link. For a while it was reported
online that the steel bezels on the sides of the iPhone would become titanium, but this was soon
disproved. So we should still wait for the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max with steel bezels.
Apart from the colour, the changes will affect the "fringes". All flagships will get a subtle front cutout
for the front camera, as well as a slightly larger area for the main lenses.
iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max specifications
Expect an under-screen fingerprint sensor, a USB-C port, or an iPhone without ports at all this fall. At
most, what Apple might add to the iPhone 13 lineup is a Touch ID fingerprint sensor in the flagship's
power button. This kind of unlocking has already been implemented previously in the iPad Air 4.
One of the most significant features of the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max will be a new matrix with
LTPO technology with 120Hz refresh rate. These are the screens that will distinguish the Pro versions
from the other flagships in the 13 range. The Pro models are also likely to feature the Always on
Display feature already introduced on the Apple Watch Series 6. This feature is called Always on
Display. In this case, the smartphone will always display widgets with relevant information, such as
the time or the calendar. This function will operate at a low frequency, so the device won't run out of
power faster. It will be downgraded to 1 GHz with the LTPO matrix, which will be used in the new
products. The screen sizes will not change:
The 13 Pro will get a 6.1-inch display.
The 13 Pro Max model will be equipped with a 6.7-inch screen.

The smartphones are expected to get the ability to shoot video in portrait mode. The 13 Pro and Pro
Max versions will also be equipped with LiDAR scanners. The novelties will be able to shoot video in
ProRes format. Portrait mode in video will be available for the entire lineup of iPhone 13, but in the
Poshki it will be implemented significantly better, due to the LiDAR sensor, which will allow more
accurate estimation of the distance between objects.
As for storage, there will be changes to the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max. Initially, it was thought that
they would simply add a smartphone with 1TB of storage, but judging from the latest insider
information, things aren't looking so obvious. Sources said that the professional versions of the 13
flagships will not get 256GB of storage. Therefore, 128GB, 512GB and 1TB flagships will be available
for purchase. This news may upset many users, as the 256GB model is hugely popular, but people
will be able to opt for more storage. The information looks quite plausible, as Apple has done the
same thing before. So it's to be expected that people will now start buying the 512GB iPhone 13 Pro
and Pro Max, as the 128GB won't be enough for them. And with how often users are now shooting
content that takes up a lot of storage space, it's obvious that many will opt for 1TB iPhones as well.
As for RAM information, the Prosci will be equipped with a 6GB RAM.

To support the work of new products will be a chip A15 Bionic. Everything here is still stably powerful
and cool. Also expect more powerful magnets in the MagSafe interface, as the number of these
accessories is growing every day. Support for 25W fast charging.
Apple is also expected to increase battery capacity in the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max. The flagships
will have a slightly thicker case because of this.
